Extra season tickets available for 2012 football

Extra! Extra!

Mississippi State announced today that there are a “very limited quantity” of extra season football tickets available due to visiting teams returning portions of their allotment.

The tickets get you into all seven home games, but here’s the catch: these season ticket packages are non-renewable, meaning it’s a one-season only, get-’em-while-you-can deal. You won’t be able to keep these tickets for seasons to come, though they will earn Bulldog Club points. So, if you missed out on tickets for this fall, it might be your lucky day.

“This is a great opportunity for some of our fans who may not have had the opportunity to purchase season tickets due to the high demand of our Bulldog Club members,” Athletic Director Scott Stricklin said. “With 166-consecutive sellouts heading into this season, we have no doubt these season tickets will set out quickly.”

Stricklin, as they say, hit the nail on the head when he said they could sell out fast.

So, here’s the info: the season ticket package costs $280 and is open to all fans (or non-fans, I suppose). They can be bought online at HailState.com/tickets, at the Bryan Athletic Administration Building or by calling the ticket office at 1-888-GO-DAWGS or 662-325-2600.

Sections for the non-renewable tickets include mid-sideline sections 305-309 in the upper deck of the west side of Davis Wade, the home side of the stadium.
