Prior to kickoff against Jackson State, Mississippi State announced the indefinite suspensions of junior receiver Ricco Sanders, sophomore cornerback Jamerson Love and sophomore defensive tackle P.J. Jones for “violation of team rules.”
It’s unclear how long the three will be out or if they will be out for equal amounts of time, though we of course know they won’t be available tonight against the Tigers.
All three are in reserve roles, though Jones may be the biggest loss. He played last season as a true freshman and appeared on track to be one of the first men off the bench behind starters Josh Boyd and Curtis Virges this year.
